Create IT operates shared sites on a Linux based VPS, provided by a leading NZ based Web hosting provider. For many small sites this is economical and more than adequate, however if you anticipate heavy traffic we can help you organise your own hosting on your own VPS or even a dedicated server.
Note: You will almost certainly be able to find a cheaper hosting plan if you host directly with a hosting provider, however Create IT offers absolutely no support for hosting issues if you choose your own hosting provider. If there are technical issues that require contact between Create IT and a third party hosting provider, you will be charged at standard or urgent hourly rates depending on the nature of the problem. If you host with Create IT, if there is a technical issue with the server, there will be no charge to investigage and resolve the issue.
Linux Hosting
Create IT's VPS runs CentOS Linux, and is actively maintained with regular stability and security updates. Linux provides a very stable and cost effective server platform, and is behind many of the world's busiest web sites.

#Support is limited to technical issues relating to server configuration. Issues relating to web design are chargeable at standard hourly rate. If you exceed the number of phone support incidents for your account type per month, Create IT at its discretion, may charge a fee for additional incidents. If you have to phone as a result of your email being unavailable, no fee will apply.
